Hi! I’m Laura and I’m so glad your’e here.
I’m a wife to Brandon, mama to thirteen children, homemaker, homeschooler, bread baker, and an ever hopeful gardener and milkmaid.
More than anything, my heart is to faithfully follow Yahweh, while building a family life that brings Him glory, a life worth holding close and passing on.
While your’e here, you’ll find stories from our ordinary days—family culture, finding our way through scripture and walking with Yeshua. Homemaking, homesteading, sourdough, Sabbath meals, and the lessons we’re learning along the way.

Our Story
Brandon and I have been married for 25 years.
We both came from broken families and got married as soon as we were able. I’m pretty sure we were far more stubborn than we were wise. Over the years, God has been faithfully redeeming every corner of our lives—our marriage, our parenting, our home, and our understanding of what truly matters.
What began as a couple of kids trying to figure things out has grown into a family of thirteen children, countless meals around an ever-growing table, many lessons learned, and a deep gratitude for God’s kindness, patience and faithfulness.
Why did we name this space Redeeming the Roberts?
We believe that redemption isn’t just a moment.
It’s a lifelong work of the Father.
It’s an day by day, moment by moment, open handed leaning in to receive His grace and forgiveness in trade for our sin and shame.
Jesus redeemed us once and for all through His sacrifice, and every day He continues to redeem what is broken, unfinished, and surrendered to Him.
This is a record of that ongoing work.
Not a story of perfection or arriving.
A story of redemption and a journey of becoming.
